Section 2(1) of schedule IV of the Bangui Accord provides that an Industrial Design/Model is “… any new design or any new three-dimensional form or any industrial object which differs from like objects either by a distinct and recognizable form giving it an aspect of novelty, or by one or several external effects giving a new and distinct appearance.”
We shall require the following details to prepare and file your application for Industrial Design:
- Full name and address of the applicant;
 
- Full name and address of the author of the design or model;
 
- Precise designation of the product to which the design or model is destined to be incorporated;
 
- The classes of products;
 
- The date, number and country of previous application (if priority is claimed);
 
- The mode of payment of taxes;
 
- 03 identical copies of a print of the design or model;
 
- Priority document (if applicable);
 
- Power of Attorney (notarisation not required)
